In the search for the local watering hall we came across this small place. They are serving draft larger nicely chilled and a tasty ha bifanas sandwich. This is not a fancy place at any stretch of imagination but we are really enjoying the simple time with the locals.

This is a real Portuguese taberna. Do realize that means, no "cool" people hang around it. Only real people. Really cheap. You can get a beer and a pork sandwich for €3.00, and a few other Portuguese snacks. Great place to watch a football game with the locals... Quite entertaining.

The bifana is fantastic. Paula, the owner is great. Nice beers and very very reasonably priced.

Paulinha is making the best bifana in town, no doubt. This place is there for decades for a reason. Will always come here!
